Breakopen Vending Machine Program
- SLGA implemented the Breakopen Vending Machine (BVM) Program in February 2000.
- Through a site contractor agreement, SLGA provides participating liquor permitted establishments with a Breakopen Vending Machine
- The site contractor purchases breakopen tickets from Pollard Banknote Limited and is responsible for loading the tickets into the BVM. The BVM dispenses breakopen tickets to the playing public and the site contractor pays any prizes that may be won.
- Site contractors receive a commission for selling breakopen tickets while proceeds from the program are distributed to the Regina and Saskatoon Hospital Foundations.
