Liquor Regulatory ReviewSLGA implemented a number of changes to Saskatchewan's liquor regulations. The changes impact commercial and special occasion liquor permittees and were effective April 1, 2009. For more information about the changes click on the links below. U-brew/U-vin permit A U-Brew/U-Vin business is a liquor-permitted business that sells ingredients and services for customers to make wine, beer, coolers and cider for private consumption. U-Brew/U-Vins provide space and expertise to allow customers to make wine and beer right at the store. Learn more Wine Recorking Customers at liquor-permitted establishments can now request to have partially consumed bottles of wine recorked to take home. This helps encourage responsible consumption because customers have the option to buy wine by the bottle but won’t feel compelled to finish the bottle before leaving the liquor-permitted establishment. Learn more Home Delivery The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is now issuing special use permits to businesses and individuals who want to offer home delivery of beverage alcohol products. Home delivery offers an option to customers who may not be able to get to an SLGA liquor store, off-sale or liquor franchise due to a lack of transportation. Learn more
